JKAACL organizes ‘On spot children music competition’ at Samba

SAMBA, SEPTEMBER 13: On the Spot Children Music Competition was today organized by Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) and District Administration Samba here today.

 The competition was held at Government Model Boys Higher Secondary School and witnessed participation of a large number of students drawn from schools across the district.   Deputy Commissioner Sheetal Nanda inaugurated the event.

In her address, the DC complimented the participating children for the confidence level they exhibited during the competition.

She also appreciated Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages for organizing the unique event and providing the students and youth of the district Samba to show case their talent. She also desired that such events be made a regular feature.   

DEPO, Dhanater Singh,  Principal, Government Model Higher Secendary School, Arvind Kumar Kaul, Additional Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages Dr Arvinder Singh Amn,    were also present at the event.

Earlier, while welcoming the chief guest, students, and the audience, JKAACL additional secretary gave a brief resume of activities scheduled by academy for the district.   He also appreciated the local administration for extending full cooperation and support for organizing this activity.  He also disclosed that a painting competition for the children will also be organized in near future on the same pattern.
