MLA calls for imparting skill based education in border areas

MENDHAR, SEPTEMBER 14: Member Legislative Assembly Mendhar, Javed Rana today called for laying special focus on skill development in border areas, terming it as need of the hour.

“There is a need to encourage skill development and create adequate infrastructure in educational and non- educational institutions of border areas to impart training in different skills,” he asserted.

The MLA was addressing a meeting of youth her at Mendhar. The MLA made them aware about different schemes being run by Government and asked them to avail full benefit of the same.

He further said that border areas of Mendhar lack proper education facilities due to continuous disturbance which becomes hurdle for local youth to gain jobs.

“To cope up with the situation, there is need to impart skill based education to so that the youth may not face ever increasing unemployment problem" Rana said.
