SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 13:- The
Cultural Committee of S. P. College, Srinagar in collaboration with the Debate
and Seminar Committee today organized Teacher’s Day here.
The event was dedicated to the former Professor of S. P. College,
Professor Mohiuddin Hajini.
The event was graced by the Vice Chancellor of Cluster University, Prof.
Sheikh Javaid, Dean Academics of Cluster University, Prof. Muhammad Aslam Baba
and other dignitaries. Professor (Dr.) Parveen Pandit, the Principal of S. P.
College welcomed all the guests and threw light upon the life and career of
Prof. Hajini who continues to be an inspiration for present generations.
Besides lauding the role of Prof. Hajini, contribution of teachers
community was also remembered.
The composite programme performed by a group of students highlighted
various teaching practices that a teacher adopts to make teaching
productive for the students.
