Delhi, Sep 1: The Supreme Court today said that it would hear the Karti
Chidambaram case on the alleged irregular Foreign Investment Promotion Board
(FIPB) clearance to INX media on September 11. A three-judge bench of the apex
court, headed by Chief Justice (CJI) Dipak Misra, said, "..would hear the
matter on September 11." Meanwhile, the Centre would have to produce
reports of cross examination and other report to the top court on September 11,
the next date of hearing in the case. The court will peruse CBI interrogation
report of Karti in the next date of hearing in the case. The CBI alleged that
Karti had taken service charges for getting FIPB clearance in 2007 when his
father P Chidambaram was the Finance Minister. UNI
