Guna, MP,
Sept 27: Congress MP and former Union minister Kamal Nath today said the
chief ministerial post of Madhya Pradesh is not his goal and described fellow
Congress MP Jyotiraditya Scindia as a suitable candidate. Mr Nath made the
statement while talking to reporters here. Mr Scindia was also present. In
response to a question, he said the decision with regards to projecting a face
for the state's chief ministerial post would be taken by the party high command
soon. Commenting on reports that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is targeting
Chhindwara and Guna parliamentary seats, Mr Nath said that the electorate in
both the places are wise and they would take a decision in this regard. He
alleged that businessmen, farmers, laborers and journalists are suffering in
the BJP's rule. Several senior Congress leaders had come here to attend the
tribute ceremony of late Congress leader Mahendra Singh Kalukheda. UNI
