Sep 23: Shiv Sena, oldest ally of BJP, today staged demonstrations in
Mumbai and across the state protesting against the inflation of essential
commodities particularly gas and petrol. Yuva Sena chief Aditya Thackeray led
the agitation at Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) in Mumbai. The
agitation were held at 12 places in Mumbai while similar programmes were held
at various other places in the state. Shiv Sena is having a Cabinet minister at
the Centre and ten ministers are in the state. It has got 18 Lok Sabha MPs, 63
MLAs in Maharashtra and Maharashtra's BJP government is depending on Shiv Sena
