Two trains derail - Ranchi Rajdhani Exp in Delhi, Shaktipunj Exp in UP

New Delhi, Sep 7: The engine and power car of the 12439 Ranchi-Rajdhani Express derailed at Delhi's Shivaji Bridge here today, but there was no report of injury to any passenger. According the Northern Railway CPRO Neeraj Sharma, the incident took place at 1145 hrs when the train was entering platform no 15 of the New Delhi station. He said only the engine and the power car were affected. This is the second derailment in less than six hours. Earlier today, seven coaches of Jabalpur-bound Shaktipunj Express train derailed near Obra station in Sonebhadra district of Uttar Pradesh. However, no casualty has been reported in the accident though some passengers received minor injures. UNI
