Srinagar, Oct 11 : Seven activists of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) were re-arrested
on Wednesday while Mohammad Yaseen Malik remained under detention in the
central jail, Srinagar.
Seven JKLF activists were
arrested by police on October 6, 2017 in the civil lines near here when they
were protesting against braid chopping incidents in the valley. However, they
were later they were lodged in central jail, Srinagar after a local court sent
them on judicial remand till October 8.Today a local magistrate granted them bail. However, immediately after they stepped out from the jail, all the seven Sheikh Abdul Rashid, Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri, Muhammad Azeem Zargar, Basharat Ahmad Butt, Nazir Ahmad Pulwama, Meraj ud din and Imtiyaz Ahmad Shah were re-arrested and lodged in the jail.
Malik also remained detained in the jail since October 6. UNI
