One Day facilitation camp for DPs organized

SAMBA, OCTOBER 06:  The District Administration today organized a facilitating camp at Community Hall, Tehsil Ramgarh for Displaced persons of 1965 and 1971. The programme was organized to assist DPs in completing documentation required for claiming benefits under Central Government Package.

A team of revenue officials led by Deputy Commissioner , Sheetal Nanda , ACR Waseem Raja Khan and Tehsildar Raman Chalotra assisted the claimants and provided necessary clarifications.

The District Administration disposed off more than 50 cases on the spot with rest of the applicants facilitated about supplementary documents required for fulfilling their eligibility. On the occasion, DC asked claimants to approach revenue authorities in case any clarification is required and assured that their cases are being followed on regular basis.
