2-days training on BEAMS concludes at Reasi

REASI, OCTOBER 06: The two-days training on Budget Estimation Allocation and Monitoring System (BEAMS) organized by Finance department concluded at Reasi here today.

In the training programme, over 120 officers and officials of various departments were imparted practical training by District Treasury in collaboration with National Informatics Center.

District Treasury Officer, Jivtesh Singh who is Master Trainer on the subject briefed the participants on all the logistics and methods required for preparing budget estimates through BEAMS. He informed that in future every DDO has to submit his budget through online mode.

The trainers informed that BEAMS is an online computerized system to distribute the budget and authorize the expenditures. It was said that departments can allocate funds to field officers through this new system which will give more realistic picture of actual expenditure and bills in process.

On the occasion, ACR Harbans Lal, AD Handicraft, ALC, Fisheries Development Officer, AD Food and various other officers were present.
