Srinagar, Oct 3: Only 11.07 per cent of Rs 1945 lakh allocated to Roads and Buildings (R&B) department under different schemes were utilised so far during the current fiscal year in south Kashmir district of Anantnag.
      Officials said that an amount of Rs 1945 lakh has been allocated for R&B department, out of which Rs 808.98 lakh was made available. 
      So far, they said Rs 215.28 lakh has been spent on different works. 
      They said that interior roads of village Wutnad and Nagam have been completed, while as work is in progress on Akingam-Sata Rishi Sahib road.
      “In Shangus constituency, out of 22 works, 12 have been completed while as work is in progress on 10 works,” he said.
      They said under National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), the works on Semthan Tulkhan road, Pehru Rampur road and Vailo - Ahlan  Gadool road, have been completed
      With regard to Health Sector, they said that work is in progress on 13 projects of different nature. 
      They said that Public Health Centres (PHCs) at Y K Pora and Adlach have been completed and handed over to the health department while as work on PHCs at Chitergul and Gadool is in progress. 
      Under Public Health Engineering (PHE) sector, they said that against an availability of Rs 176.66 lakh, works worth Rs 54.60 lakh have been completed.  UNI
