AAP revokes suspension of Amanatullah Khan

New Delhi, October 30: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) legislator Amanatullah Khan, who was suspended from the party after he had fired salvos against senior party leader Kumar Vishwas, was reinstated into the party, rebel AAP leader Kapil Mishra said here on Monday. "Amanatullah's suspension (from AAP) over," the Karawal Nagar MLA tweeted. Taking a dig at the party's decision, Mr Mishra said, "Whatever he (Mr Aamanatullah) told about Dr Kumar Vishwas is now considered to be true." He also urged Mr Vishwas not to cover their (AAP leaders) alleged corruption and speak out openly over it claiming that they were conspiring against him. On May 3, AAP Political Affairs Committee had suspended the Okhla MLA from the party's primary membership and a committee was formed to look into Mr Amanatullah's comment that Mr Vishwas is working for BJP and RSS.
