DODA, OCTOBER 04: Deputy
Commissioner Doda, Bhawani Rakwal today convened a meeting with civil society
members, representatives of social and political organisations to get firsthand
account of the problems faced by the people in the district.
Detailed discussions were held on various issues including traffic
management, blacktopping of roads, solid waste management, removal of
encroachments, development of parking slots and posting of adequate number of
doctors and Teachers in hospitals and schools.
The DC assured to the delegations that all genuine problems would be
addressed at the earliest. He sought public participation and support to bring
about necessary reforms in service delivery.
The meeting was attended by SSP Shabir Ahmed, ACR Tariq Hussain, CPO Youginder Katoch, DySP Headquarter Iftikhar Ahmed
and Tehsildar Doda Nasir Natnoo.
