DC inaugurates teachers training Program

KISHTWAR, OCTOBER 24: District Development Commissioner, Angrez Singh Rana today inaugurated five day Zonal Education Officers and teachers training program at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Kishtwar.

The programme was organized by the Department of Education Studies, Central University of Jammu under Pandit Madan Malviya Mission on teachers and teaching in collaboration with Education Department and DIET Kishtwar.

The main focus of the training programme was to sensitize the participants about the technology and communication besides familiarizing them with computer software and hardware approaches in education.

Speaking on the occasion, District Development Commissioner said that education plays an important role in the development of regions. “Science and technology revolutionize our lives, today India is one among the fastest growing societies for e-learning system”, he added.

While interacting with the ZEO’s and teachers, he stressed upon them to carry forward the techniques and skills learned in the training programme to their classrooms so that the students be benefited.
