ANANTNAG, OCTOBER 03: The District Development Commissioner Anantnag, Mohammad Younis Malik today chaired a meeting of the officers to take review of the performance of different schemes executed under District Plan 20 17 - 18.
The meeting was informed that an amount of Rs. 1945 lac has been allocated for R&B department under different schemes, out of which Rs. 808.98 lakh is the availability. So far, Rs 215.28 lakh has been spent on different works. The DDC was informed that interior roads of village Wutnad and Nagam have been completed while as work is in progress on Akingam - Sata Rishi Sahib road.
DDC instructed the officers to expedite the pace of works and complete the work of ongoing projects in stipulated time.  
In Shangus constituency, out of 22 works, 12 have been completed while as work is in progress on 10 works.
It was given out that Under NABARD, the works on Semthan Tulkhan road, Pehru Rampur road and Vailo - Ahlan  Gadool road have been completed
With regard to Health Sector, the meeting was informed that work is in progress on 13 projects of different nature. It was also given out that PHCs at Y K Pora and Adlach have been completed and handed over to the health department while as work on PHCs at Chitergul and Gadool is in progress. 
Under PHE sector, it was informed that against an availability of Rs. 176.66 lac, works worth Rs 54.60 lac have been completed. The concerned Exen informed that augmentation of WSS Achabal has been completed.
Likewise other departments including Animal Husbandry, Sheep Husbandry, Sericulture, PDD, Irrigation, Flood Control, Rural Development, Fisheries and Soil Conservation informed the meeting regarding their performance under various schemes and sectors achieved so far.

Among others who attended the meeting include CEOs of Pahalgam  Development Authority, Verinag Development Authority and Kokernag Development Authority, Chief Planning Officer, SE R&B, Exens of R&B, Flood Control, PHE and PDD, Chief Education Officer and district officers of other departments.
