ANANTNAG, OCTOBER 24: The District
Development Commissioner Anantnag, Mohammed Younis Malik today visited the
Brakpora-Chattergul road to take stock of the execution of upgradation process
of the road.
The DC expressed satisfaction over the pace of work going on for
upgradation of 16 Kms of Brakpora-Chattergul road that is being executed at an
estimated cost of Rs 20 crores following the completion of which 85000 people
of 20 villages will get benefited.
With respect to realignment of water supply schemes, the DDC said that
PHE Department has been provided the requisite money for shifting the water
supply line.
Meanwhile, he directed the Tehsildar to provide the details of property
including trees which are affected by the upgradation process.
He directed the concerned Ex. Engineer of R&B to speed up the pace
of execution work because of the limited working season.
The DC was accompanied by Ex. Engineers of PHE, R&B and concerned
Tehsildar.
