Kejriwal thanks Baijal for clearing Delhi govt's Higher Education Loan scheme

New Delhi, Oct 5: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday thanked Lt Governor Anil Baijal for clearing his government's Higher Education Loan scheme and urged him to approve the 'Guest Teachers' Bill which was passed by the Assembly. 'Thank u LG Sir. We wud urge u to sign the Guest Teacher Bill also pl,' Mr Kejriwal tweeted. 'Regularisation of Services of Guest Teachers and Teachers engaged under the 'Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan' Bill, 2017' which was passed by the Assembly on Wednesday seeks to regularise the services of 15,000 guest teachers in government schools. Education Minister Manish Sisodia also thanked the LG for clearing the Higher Education Loan scheme. 'I am grateful to Hon @LtGovDelhi for clearing Delhi govt's Higher Edu Loan scheme.
