New
Delhi, Oct 30: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday led delegation-level
talks with his visiting Italian counterpart Paolo Gentiloni here and both sides
"reviewed" entire spectrum of bilateral relationship. "Reviewing
the entire spectrum of bilateral relationship. PM @narendramodi and Prime
Minister Paolo Gentiloni led delegation-level talks," MEA spokesman
Raveesh Kumar tweeted. The visit of Italian Prime Minister - after a gap of
decade - is expected to "strengthen and reinvigorate" the bilateral
relationship between the two countries. Earlier in the day, External Affairs
Minister Sushma Swaraj called on him and both the leaders had an "engaging
discussion". "EAM @SushmaSwaraj calls on Prime Minister of Italy Paolo
Gentiloni in New Delhi. Engaging discussion on issues of mutual interest,"
the MEA spokesman tweeted. Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni, who arrived here on
Sunday, was also given a ceremonial reception at the forecourt of the
Rashtrapati Bhavan on Monday morning. UNI
