Srinagar, October 21: Minister
for Works, Naeem Akhtar has condoled the demise of noted Kashmiri businessman
Haji Ghulam Rasool Zaroo, who passed away in New Delhi on Friday.
In his
condolence message, Akhtar said that Late Zaroo would be remembered long for
his immense contribution in the promotion of Kashmiri handicrafts globally.
"Late Zaroo was one of the pioneers in providing marketing umbrella to the
artisans and handicraft traders of the State to market their legendary arts and
crafts worldwide," he said.
Expressing
heartfelt condolences to the bereaved Zaroo's, the Works Minister prayed for
peace to the departed soul.
