North Korean leader congratulates China's Xi

Pyongyang, Oct 26: North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has sent a congratulatory message to China's President Xi Jinping, wishing him "great success" as the head of the nation. It comes as a surprise as China has been urged by the international community to rein in the North's missile and nuclear tests that have raised tensions globally. The message came just a day after China wrapped up its week-long conclave which unveiled a new leadership line-up without naming a clear successor. China is the North's major ally, which has more than 90 percent of trade with the isolated country. UNI
