PCC extends support to Rahul

Puducherry, Oct 26: Puducherry Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) has extended its unanimous support to party Vice-President Rahul Gandhi to become AICC President. A resolution to this effect was adopted at a meeting of the newly elected PCC members here last night. The meeting resolved to organize agitations in consultation with the alliance partners on November 8, the first anniversary of the Demonetisation,which is to be observed as a “Black Day” by the opposition and to celebrate the centenary of Indira Gandhi in a fitting manner here. Chief Minister V Narayanasamy, his Cabinet Colleagues, Deputy speaker Sivakozhunthu, Parliamentary Secretary to the Chief Minister Lakshminarayanan, Government whip Anantharaman, legislators and among others participated in the meeting.
