Pak violates truce agreement on LoC in Poonch

Jammu, Oct 12: Pakistan on Thursday violated the ceasefire agreement and shelled forward posts along the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. "Pakistan Army this morning at around 1030 hrs initiated unprovoked and indiscriminate firing of small arms and automatics from in KG sector along the Line of Control (LC)," a defence spokesman here said. He said that Indian Army is retaliating strongly and effectively, adding, "firing is still on while no injury has been reported so far." UNI
