Delhi, Oct 17: Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will visit Andaman and
Nicobar for two days on October 18 to celebrate Diwali with the troops. It will
be her maiden visit after assuming the charge of Defence Ministry. In her
visit, she will also interact with the families of the troops and would
participate in various events over the two days, the Defence Ministry said in a
statement. The Minister will also be visiting the operational area of the
Command and Air Force Station Car Nicobar. Also, she will lay wreaths at the
Swatantra Jyoti in Cellular Jail and Tsunami Memorial at Car Nicobar. UNI
