Oct 9: Tripura Governor Tathagata Roy today said that the biggest problem
in the state is unemployment. The Governor this was said while addressing the
launching programme of handloom and handicraft workshops titled Hastkala Sahyog
Shivir here at Agartala Lichubagan 'Bamboo & Cane Development Institute.
The Governor further said, “Tripura is also reeling under the crisis of
industry sector.” He said, unlike others the state of Tripura could not come up
with its industry sector here due to bad communication system which is seen to
be upgraded apart recently. The Governor was accompanied by the DM West Milind
Ramteke. A number of services including issuance of credit facilities through
MUDRA scheme, assistance for technological upgradation under Hathkargha
Samvardhan Sahayata and access to common service centre facilities will be
facilitated through these camps, said the officials here. However, the camp
would continued till October 17 covering three districts of the state which
includes West, Dhalai and Unakoti. UNI
