Moscow,
Oct 23: As generally happens unexpected, the first snow of the winter has
fallen in Moscow with weather specialists forecasting more light snowfall
throughout the week. Weather forecasters on Sunday recorded the lowest
temperatures since the start of the fall, Interfax news agency said. Russian
Federal Meteorological Service (RFMS) has announced temperatures to hover
slightly above 0 degrees Celsius with light snow starting from Monday.
Temperatures are expected to dip below 0 C on Thursday, with heavier snowfall
expected over the weekend. The first snows fall like the fluffy white powder of
coming December, so much as slap you in the face with the full force of
October's bitter and biting promise of the six months of gloom that lie ahead.
