Bengaluru, Oct 9: Lok Sabha member and Karnataka BJP President B S Yeddyurappa and hundreds of BJP workers were taken into custody when they tried to lay siege on CPM office here today in protest against recent alleged killings of RSS and BJP workers in Karnataka and Kerala. To counter the BJP agitation, the CPM workers staged dharna in front of their office alleging that the BJP workers are politicising the issue and trying to disturb peace in the State by trying to lay siege on CPM office. Mr Yeddyurappa, former Deputy Chief Minister R Ashok, Lok Sabha member and hundreds of BJP workers taken into custody when they tried to take out a rally towards CPM office at Basavanagudi, at about two km distance. Even as the police were making arrests and taken in buses, the BJP workers squatted on the road and shouted slogans against ruling CPM government at Kerala. CPM activists, who gathered in front of their office, also aired slogans against BJP and its leaders against their agitation. UNI
