Lucknow, Nov 27: At
least eleven people have lost their lives while three others, including an
infant, were battling for life in four separate road accidents in Uttar Pradesh
on Monday.
A report from Aligarh said five people were killed when a car
overturned near Sofa village under Khair police station area. While three
people died on the spot and two other succumbed to their injuries on way to the
hospital. Two injured were in critical injured and have been admitted to the
hospital.
Another report from Agra said a father and son were crushed to death in Khandauli police station area. The deceased were returning on their motor-cycle after attending a marriage ceremony early Monday morning when they were crushed by a truck.
A couple were killed on the spot while their infant child was critically injured when they were crushed by truck near Bahadurpur under Jais police station area in Amethi district. The infant has been admitted to the community health centre.
In Bareilly, two people going on a bi-cycle were crushed by a vehicle near Parsakhera bypass under Cibiganj police station area. UNI
