Bengaluru, Nov 28: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will not campaign for Congress Candidates in the
two-phase election to Gujarat legislative Assembly scheduled for
December 9 and 14.
Talking to newsmen here on Tuesday, Mr Siddaramaiah
clarified that "I am not going to Gujarat for campaigning.
I restrict myself to State Politics."
"However, Senior Congress leader and Minister for Energy D K Shivakumar may go to Gujarat for campaigning if he was asked by the High Command. He (Shivakumar) had campaigned in the earlier elections", he added.
Mr Shivakumar also told newsmen that he will go for Campaigning if he was called. UNI
