Delhi, Nov 29: In order to participate in the joint military exercise
‘Ajeya Warrior’ with Indian Army, a contingent of over hundred UK Army
personnel landed in Rajasthan’s Jaipur on Wednesday.

proceeded directly to the exercise location at Mahajan in Bikaner where the
Exercise will commence from December 1,' Lt Col Manish Ojha, Defence
spokesperson, Rajasthan, said in a statement. At Jaipur airport, they were warmly received by Indian Army officials, he added.
This would be the third military exercise between both the Armies.
The first exercise was conducted in 2013 at Belgaum, Karnataka, whereas for the second exercise in 2015, an Indian Army contingent had visited the United Kingdom.
Approximately 120 personnel from the 20th Battalion of Rajputana Rifles from Indian Army and the 1st Battalion of Royal Anglican Regiment of the Royal British Army are participating in the exercise. UNI
