Srinagar, Nov 22: An
Automated Teller Machine (ATM) of Jammu and Kashmir Bank (JKB) alongwith Rs
4.28 lakh was stolen in the south Kashmir district of Shopian during the night
intervening November 21 and 22, official sources said.
They said unidentified persons took away ATM installed at District
Hospital Shopian alongwith a cash of Rs 4.28 lakhs.Police has registered a case, they said adding a massive hunt has been launched to nab them.
Crores of rupees had so far been looted by unidentified persons from banks and ATMs in south Kashmir during the past about a year. However, police believed that militants are behind all these loots. UNI
