KULGAM, NOVEMBER 06: The District Development Commissioner Kulgam, Talat
Parvez Rohella today conducted a public redressal grievance camp at Qaimoh
during which was deputations from various villages of the district projected
their demands.
The camp was attended by deputations from Khudwani, Wanpora, Mutalhama,
T. N Pora, Chadder, Ganjipora, Gufbal, Rampora, Redwani, Babapora, and
Bat-Tachloo villages.
On
the occasion, issues regarding safe drinking water supply from T.N Pora Water
Supply scheme, early completion of Sub District Hospital Qaimoh,
completion of the leftover work of Sports Stadium at Qaimoh, flood protection
bunds on the banks of Vashov Nallah from Mutalhama to Shamsipora, besides the
establishment of Alamdar Chowk, Bus Stand and JK Bank ATM Cum extension counter
at Qaimoh Tehsil were highlighted by the deputationists.
Responding to the demands of public, the DDC directed the officers to
sort out the issues at an earliest and be prompt in resolving issues of the
public. He directed officers to start cleanliness drive at Karl Naag, and take
measures for better traffic management in Qaimoh area.
He
also directed the Engineers of RDD to strictly follow the plans approved in
Gram Sabhas. The DDC asked Exen R&B Kulgam to start the work on the
construction of High School T. N Pora under RMSA for which land has already
been identified.
The District Development Commissioner assured that all the issues would be
taken care of and immediate and pro-active steps shall be taken to address
them.

ADDC Kulgam, ACR, ACD, Exens of R&B, PDD, PHE, I&FC, other
district officers besides BDO, BMO Qaimoh, Numberdars and Chowkidars were
present on the occasion.
