Srinagar, Nov 16: Taking a dig at Minister of State (MoS) for Home Hansraj Ahir for his comment that no one can stop India if it tries to take PoK from Pakistan, former J&K chief minister Omar Abdullah said he should prove NC president Farooq Abdullah wrong by action and not by hollowed out words.      “I don’t understand the “if we try”. What is stopping you from getting it back? Prove Dr Abdullah wrong with your actions rather than with hollowed out words,” Mr Abdullah, who is the working president of National Conference (NC), wrote on micro-blogging site twitter.
On Mr Ahir’s comment that due to mistakes of the previous governments Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) has been with Pakistan, Mr Abdullah asked if Atal Bihari Vajpayee-led regime at the centre was also included.      “And in ‘previous governments’ do you include Vajpayee Sb’s decision to respect sanctity of LoC during the Kargil War as well,” he asked.  Mr Ahir had condemned Dr Farooq’s statement that PoK belong to Pakistan.      “I condemn his (Dr Farooq) statement (on PoK), but I say PoK is a part of India and due to mistakes of the previous governments it has been with Pakistan,” the MoS Home said.      Mr Ahir said if India tries to get PoK back no one can stop it. “It is our right and we'll make efforts to get it back,” he added.      Dr Farooq has stir up a controversy by claiming that PoK belongs to Pakistan and ‘this won't change’ no matter how many wars India and Pakistan fight against each other. “Talk of an independent Kashmir was "wrong" as the Valley is landlocked and surrounded by three nuclear powers -- China, Pakistan, and India,” Dr Farooq, who is a former Union Minister, had said.
