Srinagar, Nov 3: Security forces burst teargas shells and resorted to lathicharge to disperse demonstrators in south Kashmir district of Pulwama, where a militant of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) militant and two army soldiers were killed lateThursday night.
       Official sources said that people, mostly youths, hit the streets at several places in Pulwama 
Friday morning to protest against the militant killing. Security forces deployed in the area immediately swung into action and resorted to lathicharge to disperse them.
       However, when it had no impact, security forces burst teargas shells to chase away the demonstrators, who were pelting stones.
      Business and other activities were affected due to spontaneous strike. Traffic was also off the roads. However, private vehicles and some cabs and three wheelers could be seen plying. Work in government offices and banks was also affected in some areas due to clashes.
      Educational institutions in several areas also remained closed as a precautionary measure. 
      The rail service in from Srinagar to Banihal in Jammu region via south Kashmir has already suspended for security reasons. The internet service in Pulwama also remained suspended since last evening. UNI
