Two Punjab residents arrested alongwith poppy straw in Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 3 :  Jammu and Kashmir police arrested two residents of Punjab alongwith poppy straw in the central Kashmir district of Badgam, a police spokesman said on Friday afternoon.
      He said on a specific information that some persons are involved in illegal possession poppy straw at Gudsutoo Budgam. 
        Acting on this information, a team from Police station Budgam under the supervision of Deputy Superintendent of Police headquarters raided a Jugi near a brick klin at Gudsutoo and recovered 15 kgs of poppy straw in 2 bags from the possession of Ram Swaroop, son of Hakim Singh, resident of Raipur Sanie Punjab and Dilair Singh, son of      Nath Singh, resident of Shant Pur Panjab. Both the accused persons have been arrested & case FIR No. 253 /2017 u/s 8/20 NDPS Act registered in PS Budgam. Investigation taken up. UNI
