| Government Model Middle School Lankore celebrates Annual Day |
KARGIL, NOVEMBER 16:- Chairman
and Chief Executive Councillor Kargil, Kacho Ahmad Ali Khan today said that effective
coordination and meaningful interaction among teachers, parents and students
assumes greater significance so as to inculcate positive behavioral traits and
competitive spirit among the students.
CEC stated this while addressing the Annual Day function of Government
Model Middle School Lankore at Auditorium Hall, Kargil.
The CEC said that the Council is in the process of taking all possible
steps to improve the educational scenario in the district and several concrete
measures are underway in this regard.
Expressing satisfaction over the induction of well qualified teachers in
Education Department in the district over the past few years, Kacho said that
their knowledge and expertise coupled with the long time experience of senior
teachers has resulted in the emergence of a number of such government schools
which have truly the capacity to act as model for other schools to follow them.
Students
showcased their talent with impressive items like songs, qawwali, comedy,
rhymes, skits, Hindi song and dance, magic tricks etc.
The CEC while hailing the school authorities for having organized the
annual day thereby giving exposure to the students expressed hope that the step
would enhance their self-confidence to a great extent. He also
impressed upon the teachers to impart quality education to the students with
focus on inculcating moral education among them. Kacho enjoined upon the
students to take keen interest in both curricular and co-curricular activities
preparing themselves to face future challenges in the most confident manner.
Meanwhile, responding to the demands raised by the school authorities
and members of the management committee, the CEC assured to allocate funds for
the construction of fencing, renovation work and link road for the school under
District Plan next year.
The CEC also announced 10 thousand rupees in favor of the students who
participated in the cultural and other variety programmes held on the occasion.
Executive Councillor for Education Advocate Muhammad
Amir, several officers of the district administration, members of the school
management and village education committees, teachers and students besides
scores of prominent citizens including parents of the students attended the
function.
Later the CEC and other guests gave away prizes and certificates to the
meritorious students and teachers of the school.
