DDC reviews Capex Budget 2017-18 Takes stock of ongoing developmental projects

         

 UDHAMPUR, NOVEMBER 11: District Development Commissioner Udhampur,   Ravinder Kumar chaired a meeting to take an extensive review of the ongoing developmental projects  of various departments, here today.

            Threadbare review was held on various Central sponsored & State Sector Schemes and other Developmental Projects under PMDP being implemented in the district. Progress under Swachh Bharat Mission, Biometric Attendance System, Public Service Guarantee Act, Verified reports regarding damaged infrastructure and requirement of funds under SDRF, and other various issues were also discussed in detail.

             During the meeting, DDC directed the concerned departments to adhere to the time line for early completion of projects. He called for great synergy and cooperation between executing agencies and administration and stressed on evolving clean and responsive administration to work for welfare of common masses. It was observed by the DDC that about 65.17% of the available funds under District Capex Budget for the year 2017-18 were utilized upto ending October, 2017 by the concerned executing agencies.  

            Xen PWD appraised the DDC that construction work of various roads/ bridges and buildings is going on and assured that targets fixed for the year 2017-18 will be achieved in full within time bound manner.

          DDC Udhampur issued instructions to Forest, PWD, Revenue   authorities to conduct joint verification immediately where forest land is involved in construction of roads so that the developmental works may not suffer.

          DDC Udhampur has issued instructions to all District Officers to gear up the process for completion of targets and utilization of 100 % funds well before the end of financial 2017-18.

      He instructed the officers to aware general public about  central sponsored schemes  and ensure interdepartmental coordination for implementation of PSGA Act etc.

       Meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Ashok Khajuria, GM DIC, Suram Chand Sharma, Assistant Commissioner Development, Angrez Singh, Chief Medical Officer, Dr. K.C Dogra, CEO MC Udhampur, Santosh Kotwal, Xen PWD R&B, Mohd Abdullah, Xen PHE, Ashok Khajuria, Xen PMGSY, Gain Singh, DSWO, Rachna Sharma, AD FCS &CA, Haroon Naik, besides other district /Sectoral officers of various departments were attended the meeting.
