Nov 9: Around 30 delegations, including political parties, will meet
Centre's appointed interlocutor for Kashmir Dineshwar Sharma, who is arriving
here on Thursday afternoon.
Mr Sharma is on five-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir. After winding up his three-day visit to Kashmir, he will arrive here this afternoon. "Mr Sharma on the first day will hold deliberations with different organisations at the state guest house during his stay in Jammu," sources here told . They said that on Friday, he will meet around 30 delegations comprising political, non-political and social at Convention Hall. Mr Sharma was appointed by the Government of India to hold talks with different sections of the society on the Kashmir issue. Earlier in 2009, during UPA government regime in the Centre, three interlocutors Dilip Padgaonkar, Radha Kumar and M M Ansari were appointed to meet people. They also submitted report to the Ministry of Home Affairs on Kashmir situation with some suggestions. UNI
