Nov 09 : President Ram Nath Kovind arrived here on a day long visit to Bihar to launch third phase of Agriculture Road Map for the period 2017-22.
Mr Kovind soon after his arrival at Patna Airport drove straight to pay floral tributes to the first President Dr Rajendra Prasad's statue in front of Raj Bhawan in the state capital. After paying tributes, he will go to Ashoka Convention Centre for launching third phase of Bihar Agriculture Road Map for the period from 2017- 22. While returning after launching of the Agriculture Road Map, Mr Kovind will pay tributes to veteran socialist Jaiprakash Narain at his statue
installed near Gandhi Maidan. Governor Satyapal Mallik, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi and several others diginitaries were present at Patna Airport to receive the President. Mr Kovind is scheduled to return to New Delhi around 4 PM. UNI
