Dr Subramaniyam Swamy stressed protection of Hindu fabric

Belagavi, Nov 6: BJP senior leader and Rajya Sabha Member Subramaniam Swamy has stressed the need for protecting the true hindu fabric of the nation. Delivering a lecture on 'intellectual terrorism' organised by the Prabhuddha Bharat at KLE Centenary Convention Hall here yesterday he said India is the only country which after 800 years of Mughal invasion and two centuries of British rule had remained as Hindu nation. Dr Swamy said 80 per cent of the people in India were Hindus. 'Bhagavatgita, Upanishads, and Vedas, which are the foundations of Hindu philosophy never promoted the idea of killing those who did not belief in this religion unlike religious texts of other  religion'. He said the DNA of all Indians was one and the same while the Muslims should not believe that they are the descendants of the Mughals. He clarified that he was not opposed to Muslims but they should live culturally with the Hindus and theologically with the  Quron. He said BJP was a not averse to any community and will protect all communities in the country. Muslim women were with BJP. The party came to power in Uttar Pradesh despite not giving a single ticket to Muslims, but community women backed the party as to the stand of getting rid of the triple talaq practice. Dr Swmay also advocated for according inheritance rights to Muslim women which would be ensure in the days to come claiming that the BJP would return to power in the after the next general elections. Taking a dig at leftists in the country he said China has given up Communism totally for economic growth and started prospering though Communism is confined only politically. UNI
