SHOPIAN, NOVEMBER 02: As a part of Government’s 'Digital India Land Record
Modernization Programme (DILRMP)’, the district administration
organized a day-long awareness camp here at Arahama Shopian.
The workshop was inaugurated by District Development Commissioner
Shopian Mohammad Aijaz Asad and Principal Revenue
Tanning
Institute Mohammad Altaf was the resource person for the workshop.
Additional
Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, all tehsildars, naib
tehsildars, girdawars, pathwaris and other concerned officials were present in
the workshop.
The DDC
impressed upon the participants to put in every effort for migration to digital
record regime. He highlighted the scope and objectives of the digital India
land records modernization programme.
He advised the revenue officers and officials to make optimum use of this orientation programme and deliver on the ground to make government
initiative of 'DILRMP' a reality of the day.
He also said that digitization of land records will help in preserving
gold and new land records and it shall infuse transparency in the system as people can have access to
requisite information in a hassle-free manner.
On the occasion, the technical expert Mohammad Altaf presented a
detailed power point presentation with regard to do's and don'ts while
processing of scanned of khasras, their indexing, data entry of the textual
records, digitization of the cadastral map and its use with respect to the satellite imagery and integration
with the records and quality checks of
scanned records.
He also acquainted the officers with the way and certain processes
involved in the modernization programme.
