SVC seeks report from VO regarding cases closed as not proved

JAMMU, NOVEMBER 10: Taking serious note of the media reports regarding closure of certain FIR cases which were under investigation with Vigilance organization, the State Vigilance Commission in its special sitting under the chairmanship of Chief Vigilance Commissioner has directed the Director, Vigilance Organisation to provide a list of all cases which have been investigated and closed as not proved during the year 2017 along with the Final Reports, legal brief and comments of Director Vigilance organization in each case. 

The commission has further directed that the Final Report in such cases shall not be submitted to the Court of Law before getting advice from the Commission.
