Officers asked to adhere to rules, regulations
REASI, NOVEMBER 03: To mark observance of ‘Vigilance
week’ an awareness camp was organised by State Vigilance Organisation(SVO)
Poonch-Rajouri-Reasi Range for senior government functionaries including
Departmental Vigilance Officers (DVOs), Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs)
and heads of departments.

Ram - the District Vigilance Officer (DVO) was chief guest on the occasion.
The officers of Vigilance
organization, through a power point presentation, educated the participants on
different aspects of administration and corruption free governance. They asked
the officers to imbibe integrity and morality to make the system corruption
free, transparent and work towards minimizing the scope for malpractices,
misconduct and misuse of funds.
The officers were advised to always go through financial code, laws and
other circulars issued by the government from time to time to minimize the
scope for committing errors.
Speaking on the occasion, the ADC asked the officers to follow service
rules and ethical code of conduct while handling financial matters. He said as
a DDO one should never take financial assignments lightly.
