6 cases cleared in Budgam DLSC meeting

          BUDGAM, DECEMBER 21: Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Mohammad Harun Malik chaired a District Level Screening-cum-Coordination Committee (DLSC) meeting here today.

          During the meeting, six militancy and law and order cases were cleared by the Committee.

          The Committee considered the cases and cleared three cases for compassionate appointment under SRO 43, while as Rs 4 lakh as cash assistance was sanctioned in one case and Rs 1 lakh assistance as ex-gratia relief was cleared in other case involving death of a person in a grenade attack. A case of property damage was also decided.

         The meeting was attended by ADC Mohammad Farooq Dar, ASP Budgam, ACR Budgam, Dy SP HQ Srinagar and Tehsildar Khag and other concerned.
