RAJOURI, DECEMBER 01: District Development
Commissioner Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary on Friday chaired a meeting
of Nodal Officers and Media Personnel for Media Fellowship in Development
Administration 2017-18 here at Dak Bungalow Rajouri.
While speaking on the occasion, he impressed
upon the media persons, selected for Media Fellowship, to do an in-depth and
rigorous research of various welfare/development schemes under implementation
in their assigned sectors.
He asserted that the researchers should take
up an objective and critical analysis of these schemes and highlight the
critical gaps in their conception and implementation while giving due space to
their positive contributions and success stories.
He also emphasized that the research fellows
should come up with realistic, creative and effective
suggestions/recommendations based upon their field studies, interactions with
beneficiaries, resource persons and other stakeholders.
Dr. Shahid also said the administration has
appointed a nodal officer for each sector of fellowship to facilitate
collection of relevant data, easy flow of information, improved coordination
and provision of logistics for field visits for successful completion of
fellowship.

Programme,

Land Records and Survey Shoket Hussain Kazmi, Addl. DDC AS Chib, CMO Suresh
Gupta, Chief Agriculture Officer Mohd Younus, AD FCS & CAs Javid Iqbal, Dy.
Registrar Cooperatives Waqar Talib, AO RDA Liaqat Choudhary and TSWO Naseer
Ahmad.
Among media persons who participated in the
meeting included Arif Qureshi, Gagan Kohli, Umar Arshad Malik, Sushil Dutta,
Tazim Malik, Sahil Sharma, Avinash Jasyal, Jamsheed Malik, Emroz Suri, Imran
Khan and Sahil Sharma.
