Shiksha Niketan Sr. Sec. School Organized Christmas Carnival

Jammu, Dec 23: On the Eve of Christmas, Shiksha Niketians of Sr. Sec. School, Jeevan Nagar, Jammu celebrated Birth of Jesus Christ by organizing a Christmas Carnival in the school premises.

The programme was inaugurated by the Principal Sh. Rameshwar Mengi Ji along with the incharges and the staff members of the respective wings.

The programme commenced with cake cutting ceremony and the whole environment of the school was throbbing with the spiritual and sacred vibes of carols and jingle bells.

The function was followed by different performances by the students of 11 th and 12 th class which included carol singing, cultural items, instrumental performances.

The performances were highly spectacular and the speculators felt mesmerized with the scintillating performances of the participants.

On the other side, in keeping with Christmas spirit the whole school wore a festive look and was beautifully decorated with hand-made accessories.

As per the celebration, the school organized various eatables as well as various games stall for the entertainment of the students.

The entire function was very well coordinated under the supervision of Mr. Sudesh Rana (2 nd Incharge of Sr. Sec. Wing). Mr. Keshav Sharma (Administrator, Sr. Sec. Wing) and Mr. Rahul Sharma (Discipline Incharge) maintained the disciplinary code throughout the function. Mr. Sachin Mehta ensured the provision of tasty and hygienic food / eatables in the function.

Different games were conducted for the entertainment under the supervision of Mr. Nikhil Randhawa. Cultural Programmes were presented under the supervision of Mrs. Rosy Slathia & Mrs. Meenakshi. Stage decoration was organised under the supervision of Mrs. Monika Vaid and Mrs. Devika .

At the end, Principal of the school Sh. Rameshwar Mengi showered blessings and

congratulated the students for their enthusiastic efforts for making the programme a grand success and further encouraged them with the New Year Resolution for 2018-19 “Cleanliness is next to Godliness”.
