UDHAMPUR, DECEMBER 23:
District Industries Center, Udhampur in collaboration with ZED division of
quality Council of India is
going to organise an
awareness-cum-registration camp on the theme of “Zero Defect Zero Effect” (ZED) on December 26 at Conference Hall,
SICOP Complex Battal Ballian in Udhampur.

Chand Sharma said that the aim of organizing this camp is to create awareness
about Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Schemes on the ZED
Certification scheme Government of India and guide them to register for the
same.
He said the scheme was launched by
the Prime Minister of India to
enhance the competitiveness of Indian MSMEs and make India global manufacturing
hub. He said that QCI has been nominated as the national monitoring & implementing
unit for this scheme.
He
informed that this model
will assist MSMEs to gradually build their capacities and reach the desired
level of competence in a structured manner. “This model will gauge the manufactures maturity on various
parameters and help to identity the areas of improvement and in a strategic
manner raise the levels to excellence”.
He appealed MSMEs to attend this
awareness cum registration camp and reap the advantage of programme.
