New Delhi, Dec 20: A CBI court on Wednesday -- after hearing arguments on the bail application of former Air Marshal Jaspal Singh Gujral in the AgustaWestland case -- granted bail to him with the condition of furnishing bail bond of Rs 2-lakh.
Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had filed a chargesheet against retired Air Chief Marshal SP Tyagi, former Air Marshal Gujral, Air Marshal Tyagi's cousin Sanjeev Tyagi, Lawyer Gautam Khaitan, alleged middlemen Carlo Gerosa and Guido Haschke, Former AgustaWestland CEO Bruno Spagnolini and Former Finmeccanica Chairman Giuseppe Orsi in the AgustaWestland case.
Counsel for CBI submitted before the court that a request for extradition of European middleman Carlo Gerosa has been sent in the matter. 
CBI Special Judge Arvind Kumar after hearing arguments on behalf of the Prosecution and Defence Counsel granted bail to Gujral with the condition to furnish a bail bond of Rs 2-lakh and not to leave the country without permission of the court.
CBI Special Judge Arvind Kumar further directed to CBI to supply an e-copy of the chargesheet to all the accused and adjourned the matter for May 30, 2018 for further hearing. UNI
