DDC Shopian chairs DLSCC meet

 SHOPIAN, DECEMBER 16: Deputy Commissioner Shopian, Mohammad Aijaz, today chaired the District Level Screening Cum Coordination (DLSCC) committee meeting here

 The meeting discussed seven cases for SRO-43 and sanction of ex-gratia relief. After threadbare deliberations, the committee unanimously agreed to approve the eligible SRO-43 cases, wherein ex-gratia relief was also sanctioned for the cases where victims were either killed or missing for more than the period as stipulated under the circular instructions/norms. 

On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that time-bound clearance of the cases would play a pivotal role in reinforcing the faith of affected families in the Government.

 Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Zainapora, Deputy Superintendent of Police and representatives from security agencies also participated in the meeting.
