BARAMULLA,
DECEMBER 16: District Employment and Counselling Centre (DE&CC) Baramulla
today organised job fair “CareerFest” at Showkat Ali
Stadium here.
The
fair was organized under national career services project of Ministry of
Labour, Government of India Government of India.
During the fair, different departments and agencies set up their stalls for
guidance and counselling of educated youth seeking jobs and self-employment.

Baramulla, Dr. Nasir Ahmad Naqash who inaugurated the fair, appreciated the
efforts of Employment Department and said that organizing programmes like “CareerFest” offer opportunities
to unemployed youth to remain updated and avail benefits of various schemes
aimed at generating employment. He emphasized upon the youth to come forward
for exploiting the benefits of these welfare schemes towards helping themselves
to achieve economic independence.

Employment informed the youth present on the occasion about various schemes
being implemented by the Department for the welfare of job seeing educated youth of
the district. He emphasized upon the need for participation and cooperation
among stakeholders for making such programmes a grand success.
Later, DC visited all the stalls set up by various agencies.
