Delhiites wake up to mist, air quality 'very poor'

New Delhi, Dec 26: Delhiites woke up to a winter morning witnessing mist and fog on Tuesday with air quality under 'very poor' category again.

Due to low visibility in the early hours in NCR, around 35 trains were delayed, 18 got cancelled while five had to be rescheduled.
The Air Quality Index at 1000 hrs was at 344, according to the Cenral Pollution Control Board.
Minimum temperature in the morning settled at 7.1 degrees C, a notch below normal for the season, according to the Met official.
The sky will remain clear during the day with maximum temperature to hover around 23 degrees C, the weatherman said. UNI
